Design a better world! International Design Symposium
Hello , we're delighted to invite you to join us for our one day International Design Symposium - Designing a Better World, on Wednesday 16th June 2010.
Created to bring together the leading design practitioners, researchers, educators and commentators, this event will give us the chance to debate the big questions facing our community today. Questions such as:
* What role can design play in addressing major social, economic,
cultural and environmental issues?
* How can designers help to make sense of an increasingly complex
and interconnected world?
* Can designers transform the way we think and do now - and in the
future?
If you've got something to say, want to help define design's future role in society, shape the School's agenda and work with us to deliver it, please join us on 16th June.
The event is Free but registration is required. So, for a full programme and details of how to register click here
This event is being held on the same day as the opening of Reveal, where all of our hottest new design talent will be on show and the School of Design awards, which honour individuals that have made a distinctive contribution to design. As a symposium delegate you will have automatic access to both these events.
