Barclays Take One Small Step Competition
Barclays is offering £50,000 to the top ten business ideas.
After entering online applications will be shortlisted to three ideas in each region – the winner will then be determined through online public vote. The winning entrants will be required to open a Barclays Business account if they do not currently have one. The first £10,000 will be deposited and after that Local Business Managers will work with winners to help them make the best use of the money within the first 12 months to boost the business idea.
Judges will be looking at:
Originality of the business idea
Suitability for the chosen community
Likely success of the business idea/plan
Quality and attention to detail of the submission
