apps for mini volunteering
An app which runs on smartphones (currently just the Apple iPhone) has been created by mobile phone provider Orange to encourage 'five minute volunteering'
Known as Do Some Good -there are currently 'actions' provided by twelve charities, quite a few based on mapping (of an urban oasis or places to play, for instance) but others include bite-size translation or donating images - see the partners page for more and how to suggest your own mobile volunteering action.
