Live Theatre launches Online Short Cuts
As a fan of new writing I am delighted to let you know about our new Online Short Cuts back by popular demand. If you have had the chance to come and enjoy our exciting Short Cuts events, which provide aspiring writers with the opportunity to have their work performed by professional actors, then we hope you’ll like our newly revamped online version.
Our free Online Short Cuts provides a great opportunity for budding playwrights to share their work online where it can be read by a community of new writing enthusiasts across the UK and beyond. Every month the Literary Department will select a short play and members will be encouraged to read the script and offer constructive feedback on the idea, structure and characters.
January's script Tom Evans by Bill Carr is available to read now in the Online Short Cuts forum. February's script will be My Beautiful Alice by Debbie Owen and if you are feeling inspired why not submit a script for consideration for March's play?
