Dear Own-it members,

The Own-it June programme is dedicated to everyone who works with moving images (film makers, artists, animators etc.).

First - we have collaborated with Stellar Network on a seminar on film financing. We have invited an expert in closing film finance, a producer and hopefully somebody from UK Film Council to bring us the hottest news on the subject. Click here for further information. It's next week on Wednesday, 2nd June, from 6.30 - 8.30pm, so book now to reserve your place on  Film finance: An overview  - tickets are selling quickly!!

Just a week later, we offer you the first module of a two-module course on IP in motion in partnership with Film London- and it's free! The first module will focus on clearing rights with presentations by an IP expert and two artists, who regularly work with moving images; the second will be an interactive workshop where delegates can discuss real live case studies and suggest solutions under the supervision of a lawyer.

If you want to come along book your ticket here. If you have an IP query relating to past or current projects you want us to discuss during the workshop please email Silvia Baumgart. Please ensure that your IP queries are not confidential and you feel comfortable sharing your questions with your peers and our lawyer. Please note that we will only be able to discuss your case if you attend session one and two of the workshop. The deadline for submitting your queries is Tuesday 8 June 2010.

This two-module event will take place on Tuesday 8 June and Thursday 17 June at London College of Communication, London. By booking a place here, you will be automatically registered for both events.
